The way the class was taught and with the virtual labs, it has helped me understand the world of IT Support. I do not have experience and only elementary knowledge of IT, but even though its just an intro course, I really feel motivated by it and have picked up new skills with this class. I look forward to the next one.

this is quite good, especially learning the basic fundamentals of IT. for people who have already worked in the IT Industry this is a good review/ refresher. I've learned a lot, especially on interacting with the user/customer since not that very good at talking this gave me motivation to improve on what my weakness .

It was amazing studying this course, the instructors, the planned lessons with assessment and evaluation it was all a beautiful gift. Now i feel confident and energetic to work and seek task related to IT. I would express my sincere gratitude to the entire team Google and Course for providing this wonderful opportunity.

This is the type of course I had been waiting for so long. I thank Google for bringing such a nice course to the new technology learners/aspires like us and giving some support to come in the IT industry. IT has really a broad range to work with, and this course definitely gave me the right pace to move forword with it.

This was a fantastic course. I loved the instructors, the addition of reading materials, and the interactivity available with the quizzes and tests. The course was simple and easy to maneuver. It was great to see how much time the next lesson would take, and everything was organized and made for an enjoyable experience.

At first I thought registering for this track was a mistake, since I have already been 3 years in a I.T. services and equipment support role, nonetheless went on from lecture to lecture. I found it quite a refresher, and I also learned new skills and concepts. My favourite is the Costumer Service course. I LOVED it. :-)

This course is very informative. It has the basics and more technical lessons allowing a person more experienced technically to review those basics and having enhanced understanding of them as well as a wonderful way someone starting from the beginning to gain the understanding needed for Technical Support Fundamentals

Great course, i have really learnt alot and wish to continue to learn more. i have a deep passion for IT and i believe this specialisation will grant me the skills to pursure a career in IT support. This is the very first course of the program but it already gave me so much confidence for the future and more excitement. The instructors were very knowledgeable and their way of teaching made most complex subjects such as the architecture of a computer easy to understand. The four layers were so well covered. Thanks.

If you will take this class, my advice to you is plan ahead, organize your time, and stick to your schedule. ... I have taken at this class so far is the most valuable. ... share our work with other students, thereby creating an environment to learn ... As I reflect on my experience a few important points come to mind.

Really helpful for anybody that has no or little experience with IT, and even if you have some, it's a great refresher. Also helpful as a supplement if studying for other certifications like CompTIA A+. The exercises and quizzes definitely help with retention and I learned a few new things I'd not seen/heard elsewhere.

What an excellent class! Not too short and not too long -- just the perfect amount of everything including videos, readings, quizzes, etc. Coursera has truly redefined online education. I am very impressed. I am very much looking forward to the remaining courses of this certificate as well as more certificate programs.

Even if you have no intention of continuing on for a full IT support program, this should be a basic course for anyone who needs to use a computer as any part of their work and/or home life. Having the fundamentals gives you a much greater appreciation of computers, and will better enable you in their use at any point!

it has been a very complete and enriching course, which has helped me to undertand the technonolical part, the instructor were the most explicit. the only observation i have if it can be improved for the next student is that a laboratory was hit repetedly until they gave me another option and it was very easy ..thanks

It was really a perfect course. I encourage everyone who is interested in IT Support to take it. It gave me a better look at the IT world and opened my mind toward more of that. I'm woundering though, what should be the next course to enrol in as a bigginer in this world??

This is a great course for beginners. I wish the introduction could be a little detailed for better understanding and grasping the concept and terminology. Rest all was great. I enjoyed the course and would recommend everyone to go for this as it gives you the basic knowledge of how computers and the internet works.

Excellent presenters, good information and well organized. It would be great to have a summary booklet or site for reference. Simulations are very well done. Everyone should take an introductory course like this one just to help explain how the basics of digital computers and networking work. Highly recommend it.

This was pretty awesome! It is also my first time at taking an online course. The content was provided in a clear and concise manner and easy to follow. I am looking forward to continue my learning in the IT Support Professional Certificate program and will probably take some more courses once I'm done with this one.
